We all have moments in our lives when we get down about our abilities and ourselves. Part of being human is having flaws, but does beating ourselves up over these flaws really benefit us? Noticing what we can’t do can often motivate us to improve our skills but in some cases, it can just stir up self-doubt and negativity.
This week instead of seeing the negative, create an inventory of all of the positive things about yourself and your abilities.
Know that although we may not be skilled in all areas we are in some areas and realize that we are all a work in progress. Part of growing as a person is seeing our potential and owning it. Appreciate, reflect and write.
